Instagram's IGTV Supports Horizontal Video: Instagram now supports traditional landscape videos in addition to vertical on IGTV. The horizontal videos will be shown full-screen when users turn their phones sideways while watching in IGTV’s standalone app or its hub within the main Instagram app.

In comparison, segments from TV shows like The Tonight Show or Jimmy Kimmel Live only need a couple hundred thousand views to be shown in the Trending section.
