Facebook Send Button: This Week in Social Media
Welcome to our weekly edition of what’s hot in social media news. To help you stay up-to-date with social media, here are some of the news items that caught our attention.
What’s New This Week?
Facebook Send Button: You now have the option of adding a Send button to your content, similar to the Facebook Link button. This new button allows your readers to choose people they want to share your content with.

Readers can "send" links to Facebook Groups, Facebook friends and even to email addresses.
Facebook Deals Launches Test Programs in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco: Similar to Groupon, Facebook Deals allows local businesses to offer digital coupons on Facebook.

Your Facebook friends will see your Deals unless you change your privacy settings.
Klout Launches New Site: This new version allows you to “compare your Klout profile to others, gain new insight on your score, see the latest Klout Perks, and control which influencers are displayed on your profile.”

The new Klout "shows more relevant topic and influencer data and a clearer view of how your Klout is changing over time."
YouTube Founders Acquire Delicious From Yahoo!: Delicious users will be happy to hear that this popular bookmarking platform has a new owner, Avos, that plans to “make the site even easier and more fun to save, share, and discover the web’s ‘tastiest’ content.”

"Yahoo! will continue to operate Delicious until approximately July 2011." When the transition period is complete, information will be moved over to Avos.
Here are a couple of other social media tools worth a look.
PressJack: A desktop application that allows publishers to convert their web content into digital magazines instantly. A desktop version of the application is currently available in beta.

PressJack makes it easy to organize your content into a beautifully laid out digital magazine.
WP4FB: A free WordPress template to create Facebook landing pages.

Worth a try?
And don’t miss this:
