    Some interesting studies to note:

Response Rates on Facebook Pages Grew in 2014: The latest research from social analytics provider, Quintly, used a sample set of about 91,000 Facebook pages with more than 1,000 likes/fans and found that the average response rate grew from 37.4% in January 2013 to about 45.4% by the end of December 2014. While this growth is positive, it shows that a majority of user questions on Facebook pages still remain unanswered within 14 days of being posted.

What Type of Content Will Earn the Most Shares in 2015: Fractl and BuzzStream partnered in analyzing 220,000 articles from 11 verticals published during June 2014 to November 2014 to discover what types of content perform best on social media. By analyzing how-to articles, lists, what posts, why posts, and videos, they discovered that lists (22.45%) and why posts (22.32%) had the most social media traction in general, averaging around 21,000 shares per month. However, the social metrics for each type of content varied by vertical (travel, entertainment, news, etc.). This is attributed to each audience having different preferences and behaviors.

What do digital marketers really want in 2015?: Web content management solutions provider, Kentico, commissioned a study by market research agency, Millward Brown, to learn more about digital marketers' top priorities in 2015. Personalization and mobile were among the fastest growing trends. However, the study found that the most successful digital marketers are planning to invest more of their efforts in email marketing. They also consider marketing automation software to be an important part of executing their marketing strategies.

The 2014 State of Enterprise Social Marketing Report: Spredfast commissioned a report from Forrester Consulting to uncover insights on the state of enterprise social marketing programs at the biggest companies across the U.S. and Western Europe. The report reveals executive's oversight, goals and priorities, key metrics and plans for integration when it comes to their company's social media marketing efforts.
