Using AI-Inspired Social Content to Grow a Loyal Audience

    by Michael Stelzner / June 10, 2025

Finding it hard to create enough content to stay consistent on social media? Wondering how AI can help you post with purpose—not just frequency?

In this article, you’ll discover how to use AI tools and creative inspiration to develop social content that resonates with your audience, strengthens connections, and builds loyalty over time.

Using AI-Inspired Social Content to Grow a Loyal Audience by Social Media Examiner

Why Creators and Entrepreneurs Should Use AI for Social Content

The primary benefit of using AI for social content creation is the ability to scale your teaching and outreach without burning out.

Sabrina explains that her goal is to teach one million people about AI, which would be impossible without leveraging AI and automation in a strategic way.

“Going from zero to 750,000 followers in a year with no paid ads, no budget, and no team is basically impossible unless you're leveraging AI and automation in a smart way,” Sabrina shares.

The upside of smart AI automation is significant time savings. Sabrina quantifies this benefit precisely: “When I first started, I didn't use AI for the automation pieces. It took maybe thirty hours a week just to make content and distribute it across all the platforms.” Now, with AI assistance, she spends “about ten hours a week” on content creation—a 20-hour weekly time savings.

This efficiency doesn't come at the expense of quality. Rather than compromising on output, AI allows creators to reallocate those saved hours toward more strategic activities like product development, client work, or even personal projects.

The time savings come from three key areas:

    1. Research and ideation
    2. Content creation and refinement
    3. Content distribution and scheduling

With these time savings, creators can invest more deeply in their expertise and audience relationships rather than being trapped in the content production hamster wheel.

#1: Reset Your Expectations for AI and Social Media Content Creation

Many beginners view AI as a magical solution that will automatically generate viral content and explosive growth. Ramonov advises resetting these expectations. Used at its best, AI is a tool for amplification, not replacement. You still need a clear perspective, consistent brand voice, and understanding of your audience.

Remember, AI can help explore ideas and generate drafts, but you remain the director in charge. First, you need to develop your own viewpoint or perspective, then use AI to help create content around that foundation. AI can pull relevant research to support your perspective or help you explore differing experiences, but the core message should come from you.

She recommends using AI in place of Google search to help you research ideas, research customer pain points, and research hooks. Then, you can use it to create ten different drafts and see which one you resonate with.

#2: 3 Ways to Use AI for Social Media Content Research and Information Gathering

One of the most underrated AI applications is documenting your daily business activities to find post ideas. “I think one of the most underrated ways to use AI is to help you document what it is you're doing every day in your business,” Sabrina explains.

    This includes:

    AI Business Society

Ready to Unlock AI Marketing Breakthroughs?

If you’re like most of us, you are trying to figure out how to use AI in your marketing. Here's the solution: The AI Business Society—a new AI marketing community from your friends at Social Media Examiner.

The AI Business Society is the place to discover how to apply AI in your work. When you join, you'll boost your productivity, unlock your creativity, and make connections with other marketers on a similar journey.

I'M READY TO BECOME AN AI-POWERED MARKETER
    • Client meetings
    • Internal team discussions
    • Partner conversations
    • Product development sessions

These interactions can be recorded using AI tools, which then extract key insights and draft social media content based on the discussions. This approach aligns with Gary Vee's advice to create content by documenting what you're learning or doing but with an AI-powered enhancement.

For those concerned about privacy when recording meetings, Sabrina recommends staying within your organization's approved ecosystem:

“If you're a Microsoft shop and you have Copilot joining the meetings, Copilot producing the transcripts, you can also use Copilot to draft some social media posts and shoot you an email in Outlook,” she advises.

Similarly, Google Workspace users can leverage Gemini for meeting notes and then use the same tool to create social content from those notes.

    using-ai-inspired-content-to-grow-a-social-following-gemini-note-taker

Transparency is essential for customer or client meetings. Sabrina suggests being upfront: “Hey, if there are some key takeaways here from our conversation, would you let me draft a few social posts if I anonymize them? I'd also love to tag you in them if you want to repost them to your network and share some of your insights as well.”

Ramonov does this every week for her Blotato office hours, during which anyone in the community can join and ask questions.

After the session, she uses a prompt to pull key points around which she can create content.

Extract the three most frustrating challenges people expressed during the call.

This approach transforms routine business interactions into valuable content opportunities. Instead of creating content from scratch, you're using real insights from actual customer conversations as inspiration.

Sabrina also suggests taking your best-performing posts and using AI to analyze the comments for insights. Controversial comments can be a seed for new posts that are coming up,” she explains.

This approach ensures your content responds directly to audience interests and questions, creating a virtuous feedback loop.

For beginners, Sabrina recommends analyzing comments on other creators' content in your niche and looking for topics you can discuss based on your personal experiences. Alternatively, you can use Perplexity and set the focus specifically on Reddit to search for the top posts on that topic,” she suggests.

#3: Generating Content With AI from Research

Once you've gathered insights and research, transforming them into engaging social content is the next step.

Create a Custom GPT Trained on Your Voice

If you or your company have an established writing style, feed several ideal posts and upload them to a custom GPT to train it on your unique style.

    using-ai-inspired-content-to-grow-a-social-following-customgpt

Doing this in a custom GPT allows the AI to generate content that matches your unique voice and perspective without you having to repeatedly explain your brand voice, offerings, and call to action for each new post.

For beginners who haven't yet developed their voice, Sabrina suggests an alternative approach: “In the beginning, my custom GPT was trained on a bunch of people I admired as copywriters.”

When training your custom GPT on others' writing, focus on strong copywriting examples that resonate with you personally. Over time, as you develop your own writing style, you should replace these examples with your own high-performing content.

Pro Tip: “Don't overthink it because your voice will change. What you consider good content that sounds like you will evolve over the months.”

Instead of trying to create the perfect custom GPT from the beginning, focus on consistency and volume in the early stages.

#4: Test Your AI-Generated Content Across Social Media

Sabrina recommends posting test content multiple times per day across different platforms to quickly identify what resonates with your audience.

Platforms like TikTok, Twitter/X, and Threads are particularly suitable for frequent posting, as they don't penalize creators for multiple daily posts.

Sabrina, who publishes a lot of short-form video, explains that TikTok is excellent for beginners.

“One reason I recommend TikTok for beginners is because it gives you so much data, and it doesn't punish you for posting multiple times per day.”

TikTok's algorithm first shows your post to two hundred people based on your hashtags and the video's content. If it does well, they show it to 500 more people, and so on.

This incremental exposure allows for rapid feedback on what content resonates.

“So test five different hooks, five different topics, and you'll see very quickly within hours which of those hits and which doesn't,” Sabrina advises.

#5: Repurpose Existing Content with AI

As your content library grows, repurposing becomes an increasingly valuable strategy for maintaining consistency without constantly creating from scratch.

Sabrina explains how this has become a core part of her workflow. Instead of sitting down every week and stressing about writing seven original posts, half of her posts are repurposed from previous posts that she's found a way to add a new perspective to.

For example, she might take a post about AI coding from a year ago and repurpose it with a new angle on vibe coding, adding her perspective on how the technology has evolved since the original post.

    using-ai-inspired-content-to-grow-a-social-repurposed-post

This approach is especially valuable for topics that have evolved or new terminologies that have emerged in your field. It allows you to leverage your existing content while keeping it fresh and relevant.

    Blotato: An AI-Powered Content Solution

Throughout her journey, Sabrina created a tool called Blotato to solve her own content challenges.

The AI-powered social media management tool with a social scheduling aspect and a strong AI writing assistant has evolved to include several powerful features for content creators:

    1. Content Database: The system stores all your published posts, allowing you to remix or repurpose them easily.

    2. Multi-Source Content Generation: The system uses sources. You can run YouTube videos, articles, TikTok videos, and podcasts through an AI writing assistant trained on your voice, and it generates drafts for all of those platforms.

    3. Multi-Platform Scheduling: The tool integrates with nine social media platforms, allowing centralized scheduling.

    4. AI Image and Video Generation: Sabrina notes that “ninety-eight percent of all social media posts now have an image or video attached,” making this feature essential.

    5. Voice Integration: Blotato connects with Eleven Labs, allowing users to incorporate their own voice or select from hundreds of high-quality stock voices for video content.

This comprehensive solution addresses each stage of the content creation process, from ideation to publication, helping creators maintain consistency without burnout.
