    Fresh Facebook Ad Ideas

Running out of new angles for your Facebook ads? This customer survey process will help:

    • Build a short survey in a tool like Typeform and send it only to customers who have owned your product for at least 30 days. Recent buyers haven't used the product long enough to tell you what they like about it.

    • Ask why they bought, what pain point or struggle led them to purchase, what they like about the product, what they wish you would launch next, and what other pain points they're dealing with in their business or personal life.

    • Offer an entry into a $100 gift card giveaway for completing the survey. Frame it as a giveaway entry, not a guaranteed reward for every respondent.

    • Announce the winner roughly 48 to 72 hours after you send the survey email.

Mine the survey responses for the exact pain points, motivations, and phrases your customers use, then turn them into new hooks, avatars, and desires to test in your ads.

Pro Tip: When you've exhausted your survey insights, search Google for site: reddit.com followed by a pain point, benefit, or customer avatar. The threads that come up reveal before-and-after states, frustrations, and relatable scenarios in your customers' own words, which you can turn directly into ad scripts.

    Where the Real Conversations Happen

You can follow all the right marketers online. But the conversation that changes how you see a problem rarely happens in a comment thread.

It happens in the hallway after a session or at a table with someone facing the same challenge. Social Media Marketing World is built for those moments.

How to Keep Up With LinkedIn's Latest Updates

LinkedIn is cracking down on AI slop while rolling out more AI tools of its own, leaving you to figure out how to use AI without losing the human touch that actually drives sales. AJ Wilcox, founder of B2Linked and host of The LinkedIn Ads Show podcast, joins Michael Stelzner and Jerry Potter to unpack what the newest changes mean for your posts, comments, live streams, and ads.

Where AI Belongs in Your LinkedIn Content
Discover which parts of the writing process AI handles well, the one part you should never hand off, and the common writing habits that could get your posts flagged as AI slop even when you wrote every word yourself.

    Why Commenting Might Beat Posting
LinkedIn is making comments more visible and personalizing which ones rise to the top. Learn when a comment-first strategy makes sense, the timing window you need to hit, and the simple follow-up question that sparks the kind of conversation LinkedIn rewards.

Turning One Live Stream Into a Month of Content
Find out how LinkedIn's new AI clipping tool for live streams works, whether it's worth going live just to use it, and a smarter way to get usable video from a busy executive who refuses to record.

The LinkedIn Ads Mistake You Might Be Borrowing From Meta
LinkedIn says more ad variations lead to better click-through rates, but there's a catch the platform isn't telling advertisers. Discover how many creatives AJ actually recommends per ad set, why adding more could cost you, and the video format that keeps winning his tests.

One Word Can Change How It Lands

Same Reel, same edit, two different hooks. “Moving” tells people what happened. “Relocating to Nashville” lets them picture it.

That gap is easy to miss when you're close to the work, and Shannon McKinstrie has a one-word check for it. It's step one of six in our free guide, Unpolished Reels.

Here's What You Missed From Our New Short-Form Docuseries

Mike and the team test ideas submitted by fans to get 3,000 people to Social Media Marketing World 2027. Here are three lessons from the past week:

    1. Your time costs more than your tools. Mike stuck with a cheaper AI video editor that kept stumbling. Then he realized the hours he lost were worth more than the tokens he saved.

    2. You can build it yourself. Mike had never written code, but he used AI to build a personalized invitation that attendees can send to a friend.

    3. Testimonials take work. Plenty of customers love you, but far fewer will say so on camera. When one does, AI can cut a long clip into a short vertical video.

Watch the series and share your idea on YouTube.

Meta Launches Forum as a Dedicated App for Facebook Groups: Meta has introduced Forum, a standalone experience designed to make Facebook Groups easier to explore and participate in. The app combines existing group memberships with discovery tools for finding new communities, while its AI-powered Ask feature surfaces recommendations and answers grounded in group discussions. Meta is also testing interest-based browsing and a new community voice designation intended to highlight members who consistently provide useful contributions. Facebook

Instagram Rolls Out the Edits AI Assistant for Personalized Creator Insights: Instagram is making its Edits assistant available to all US users, giving creators an AI tool that combines their account metrics, audience behavior, comments, and platform trends to uncover actionable insights. The assistant can explain performance patterns and suggest content ideas, hooks, scripts, captions, and relevant trending audio based on what has already worked for an individual creator. Instagram says the tool is intended to handle analysis while leaving creative decisions to creators, with expanded usage coming through Meta One subscriptions. Instagram

Instagram Adds In-App Boosting for Live Videos: Instagram is expanding its promotional tools by allowing creators to turn active livestreams into ads directly from the Live composer. Boosted broadcasts can be distributed across Feed, Stories, and Reels, with creators able to choose targeting and schedule promotions ahead of time. While marketers could already promote upcoming Instagram Live sessions through Meta Ads Manager, the new feature streamlines the process by letting creators launch and manage the promotion without setting up a full ad campaign. Meta Highlights Muse as an Always-On AI Agent for Creators: Meta is showcasing how creators can use Muse to manage both creative and business workflows, from connecting existing apps and organizing brand deals to planning projects and generating content. The personal AI agent remembers user preferences and can continue completing assigned work while creators are away, with recurring tasks and summaries designed to reduce the amount of hands-on coordination required. Meta Launches Enterprise Platform to Bring Its AI Stack to Businesses: Meta is establishing Meta Enterprise Platform as a new business pillar focused on turning its models, agents, infrastructure, and business technology into products companies can deploy across their organizations. The initial offering will incorporate technologies including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, and Muse Code, with CJ Desai joining Meta to lead the initiative. Meta says the platform will emphasize security and privacy while helping enterprises apply AI to growth, customer service, innovation, and business operations. Meta

Reddit Restricts Data Access With RSS and Public API Shutdowns: Reddit is tightening access to its content as it responds to automated scraping and AI-related data collection. RSS feeds will disappear in November 2026, while public API access is scheduled to end by March 2027, requiring products such as AI assistants and social listening platforms to pursue commercial access for Reddit data. The company is also introducing registration requirements for approved apps and bots and restricting access to Old Reddit as part of the broader changes. TechCrunch

Threads Adds Raise Hand and Live Reactions to Live Chats: Threads is expanding its live chat experience with new participation and engagement features, including a raise-hand option that lets spectators request to join conversations and live emoji reactions visible to everyone. The platform is also preparing to test live chats on the web through threads.com, while messaging and live chats have now become available in Australia. Threads

Threads Tests Post Overlays and New Media Editing Tools: Threads is testing a mobile media editor that allows users to place posts directly over photos and videos through a new Quote option, while preserving links back to the original conversation for engagement. The editor also includes stickers, layouts, and the ability to divide images into multiple sections, with Threads positioning the release as an early step toward a broader set of creative publishing tools. Threads

YouTube Prioritizes Original Content in Shorts Recommendations: YouTube is adjusting its Shorts recommendation systems to give greater distribution to original videos while reducing the reach of content that simply re-uploads another creator’s work without adding anything new. The update is intended to improve content quality for viewers and give creators publishing original material a stronger way to grow and succeed on the platform. YouTube
