How to Get More Views on Old LinkedIn Newsletters

Do you have past LinkedIn newsletters sitting in your archive collecting dust? Those past issues can still drive thousands of views, book calls, and build your authority if AI can find them. This quick optimization will help:

    • Open any published LinkedIn newsletter and click the settings or edit option. Find the SEO title and SEO description fields. These are the metadata that AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude pull from when recommending content to users.

    • Rewrite your SEO title to include your name, your core topic, and a clear keyword phrase your ideal client would search. Keep it specific: “Judi Fox: How to Improve Your LinkedIn Feed” works better than a vague or clever title.

    • Write a new SEO description using the full 160-character limit. Ask ChatGPT or Claude to help you draft it: give the AI your name, your niche, and the article's main takeaway, then ask it to suggest keyword-rich variations that describe the same concept in a few different ways.

    • Repeat this process for every past newsletter issue. Start with your top-performing issues, then work backward through your archive.

Pro Tip: Add a link to book a call or visit your website inside each updated newsletter. If you stopped taking calls for a period, go back and re-insert your booking link now that you are active again. The newsletter keeps working for you long after you publish it.

Judi Fox edited the SEO fields on newsletters that were two to four years old and gained over 15,000 additional views the following year, with no additional promotion. Your past newsletters are sitting in a high-authority channel that AI already indexes. A single optimization pass turns dormant content into a long-term discovery engine.

This tip was shared by Judi Fox at Social Media Marketing World.

Tired of Sounding Like Everyone Else?

Generic AI content is easy to spot — and easy to ignore. The marketers standing out are creating work that actually sounds like them: a clear point of view, a distinct voice, and a human behind the words.

The AI Business Society shows you how to close the gap. You'll get prompts, workflows, and support from marketers who've already done it, so you can produce work you'd actually be proud to put your name on.

How to Build a Video Series That Keeps Viewers Coming Back

The era of chasing viral hits is over. Social platforms are shifting toward series-style content, rewarding creators who keep viewers watching, not just clicking once. If you have been pouring energy into one-off videos hoping something takes off, video strategist and Writers Guild Award winner Daryn Strauss says there is a better path. It starts with storytelling frameworks borrowed from Hollywood and adapted for founders and personal brands.

Why Going Viral Is Actually Overrated

Find out why a single viral video rarely translates into sales and what really matters more for founders and brands trying to grow through video content. Daryn explains how the relationship between watch time, repeat viewership, and buyer trust works in your favor when you stop chasing one-time hits.

A Simple Story Structure That Makes Educational Videos Work

Learn the four-part formula Daryn uses to turn any educational topic into a video that builds trust and moves viewers toward a next step, all without overproducing or scripting every word. She breaks down exactly what to establish in each section and why the order matters.

The Character Strategy That Stops Comparison Syndrome

Discover how to define the specific role you play for your audience using a set of creator archetypes, so you stop comparing yourself to other creators and start showing up with consistency and clarity. Daryn shares the five archetypes and how to identify which one fits you.

Four Elements That Turn Standalone Videos Into a Binge-Worthy Series

Daryn breaks down the components that separate a collection of random videos from a true series. Learn how to choose a quest, build tension across episodes, and pick the repeatable format that fits your brand and comfort level with personal storytelling.

    Marketers Are Learning AI Alone

Sound familiar? 85% of marketers learn AI by experimenting on their own, just 7% get company training, and more than half spend their own money on tools. If you're the one figuring out AI for your small business, you're not alone — but you shouldn't have to guess.

Our third annual AI Marketing Industry Report distills the experience of thousands of marketers into 32 clear charts: what's working, what's worth paying for, and what to learn next. Your shortcut awaits.

Amazon Joins the YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program: Eligible U.S. creators can now promote products from Amazon's catalog directly within YouTube videos, Shorts, and livestreams. Creators need to connect an eligible Amazon Associates or Influencer account to their YouTube channel, after which products can be tagged manually or through YouTube's auto-tagging functionality. Viewers are directed to Amazon to complete purchases, while qualifying commissions are paid to creators through YouTube's AdSense system. YouTube

Instagram Launches One-Tap First Draft for Reels: Instagram is rolling out First Draft globally, an auto-editing feature that can turn a collection of clips into an initial Reel edit in under 10 seconds. Integrated directly into the Reels creation workflow, the tool is intended to eliminate some of the tedious setup involved in editing while leaving creators in control of the final result. By providing an instant starting point rather than a finished product, Instagram aims to make short-form content creation faster and easier without limiting creative flexibility. Instagram

Meta Streamlines Login With Facebook With New SSO and iOS Features: Meta is opening an updated Login with Facebook experience to developers, introducing one-tap sign-in on Android and web alongside improvements to authentication on iOS. Limited Login sessions can now refresh credentials without requiring users to authenticate again, while Fast App Switch routes eligible logins through the native Facebook app. Meta

Meta Tests Automated Comment-to-DM Feature for Instagram Ads: Some Meta advertisers are seeing a new “Reply to Keywords” option that automatically sends users a private message when their ad comment contains a designated keyword or phrase. Advertisers can configure up to five triggers and create a response containing contact information or links, potentially making lead-generation and comment-to-DM campaigns easier to automate. The feature currently appears focused on Instagram and remains an early test with limited customization. Jon Loomer

TikTok Expands Out of Phone Across Europe: TikTok is scaling its Out of Phone program through six new media partnerships that will distribute creator content across digital screens in the UK, France, Belgium, Spain, and Italy. The expansion brings TikTok videos into environments ranging from gyms and universities to taxis, supermarkets, bars, and shopping centers. For marketers, the program creates additional opportunities to sponsor content and extend creator-led TikTok campaigns into DOOH placements, connecting social creative with audiences in real-world settings. TikTok

X Launches Native Lead Gen Ads Globally: X has introduced Lead Gen Ads, giving advertisers a way to capture customer information through native forms without sending users to an external landing page. The format supports multiple creative types and uses pre-filled forms for returning respondents to reduce conversion friction. Advertisers can target and optimize campaigns through Ads Manager, then manage, export, or send captured leads to their CRM through the new Leads Center. XBusiness via X

X Opens Ad Campaign Data to Third-Party AI Tools: X has launched an Ads MCP server that enables advertisers to connect campaign data and analytics with compatible AI agents, including Grok, Claude Code, and custom tools. Marketers can use natural-language prompts within their preferred AI environment to analyze performance and inform campaign decisions, creating a more flexible way to incorporate X advertising data into AI-powered marketing workflows. Social Media Today

YouTube Expands Custom Feeds With Prompt-Based Recommendations: YouTube is testing an expanded version of Custom Feeds that lets viewers create and save up to eight personalized discovery feeds using natural-language prompts. Users can define specific interests or viewing moods, edit those prompts as their preferences change, and quickly switch between feeds pinned to the Home page. The U.S. experiment gives viewers more direct control over YouTube's recommendation experience and, on mobile, replaces traditional topic chips for participating users. YouTube

YouTube Standardizes Views Across All Video Formats: Starting August 24, YouTube will count public views from the moment a video begins playing, extending the exposure-based system already used for Shorts to long-form videos, podcasts, and live streams. The change gives creators a standardized measure of overall exposure that can also be used when communicating audience scale to brands and sponsors. Engaged views will remain the key metric for historical comparisons and monetization, while YouTube says CTR, retention, recommendations, and YPP calculations will not be affected. YouTube

YouTube Expands Stations Beyond Music: YouTube is broadening its Stations experiment to creator content, media channels, podcasts, and additional music artists, offering viewers always-on, 24/7 streams of curated videos with live chat. Stations will surface through Home and Search across YouTube and YouTube Music on mobile, desktop, and TV, giving creators and media brands a new way to package existing content into continuous shared viewing experiences. The feature is available to viewers in most markets globally, while creator access remains limited during the experiment. Google
