What's New This Week?
Facebook Launches New Pages: Facebook users are now discovering the new Facebook page design. Admins can preview the new design and have the option to upgrade now, or wait until March 1st when all pages will be automatically upgraded to the new design. Here's a summary of the latest important changes to your Facebook business pages:
- Page admins can now get notifications when fans interact with their page or posts
- There's a place to showcase photos along the top of your page
- There's a news feed for your page
- Page admins now have the ability to Like and post on other pages as your page

Facebook Rolls Out Live Commenting: This real-time commenting feature allows users to see new comments by others as they “appear in-line without having to refresh the page.” Check out how this works below in the video from TheNextWeb.
In addition to rolling out live commenting, Facebook now enables ads to link to specific landing tabs on your Facebook page. Are you going to try this new feature out soon?
Twitpic Launches New Video-Sharing Feature: You can now upload, store and share your videos on the photo-sharing site Twitpic, used by many people on Twitter. This is a useful feature as video marketing continues to rise in popularity. Do you share videos on Twitter?

AOL Agrees to Buy the Huffington Post: “Acquisition will solidify AOL's strategy of creating a premier content network with local, national and international reach.” This is one of the first big pieces of social media news this year.
