Tips for Attending
Social Media Marketing World is a busy and exciting event. A little pre-planning goes a long way. Below are some details to keep in mind to make your conference experience run smoothly.

Check-in: Enter the first floor of the San Diego Convention Center (outside of Hall F) on Wednesday, February 28 starting at 9am. Registration will remain open until 8pm and will reopen on Thursday, March 1 at 6:30am. You’ll receive your name badge and Social Media Marketing World program guide with detailed session descriptions, agenda and maps.
Name badge:Keep your badge with you at all times to access the event. All-access badges and wristbands are required to attend parties, workshops and sessions. Marketer Ticket badges allow access to keynotes, sessions and the Networking Plaza. Creator badges allow access to creator sessions and the Networking Plaza. Community badges allow access to keynotes and the Networking Plaza.

- ▼ Manage Your Registration Profile & Food Preferences ▼ −
Need to change what will appear on your registration badge? No problem. Click here to log in to your profile page to add your company name, food preferences or change your contact details. Changes made after February 12, 2018 will not be reflected on your name badge. Food preferences can be added up until February 15, 2018.
If you have forgotten your registration password, look for the “Lost password” box to have the system reset your password.

For All-Access Ticket Holders, breakfast and lunch will be provided Thursday and Friday. There will be food available for purchase on Wednesday from 11am – 2pm. The Wednesday evening event will offer plenty of food, so come hungry.
For Marketer, Creator and Community Tickets, you will be able to purchase food on location at the San Diego Convention Center. Meals are not included with your ticket.
Lunch Table Talks: On Thursday and Friday during lunch, all attendees can take advantage of our structured networking opportunities in the Networking Plaza. Details available in January.
Do You Have Dietary Restrictions? Let us know. If you are vegetarian, vegan, Kosher, or Gluten or lactose free, add any food restrictions to your personal profile. We’ll have information about your meals ready for you at registration.
MeetUp & EatUp: For dinner on Thursday you are on your own to eat at one of the great restaurants surrounding the convention center. Join a MeetUp & EatUp to meet some new people. You’ll get an email with MeetUp & EatUp details 6-8 weeks before Social Media Marketing World.
Need Help Making Dinner Plans? Visit the concierge at your hotel or the San Diego Convention Center. You can also utilize Open Table (change the parameters based on your party’s size). You’re looking for restaurants hear this address: 111 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.

The conference and all networking events are business casual. The opening night party will be on an aircraft carrier, so ladies: avoid heels. Bring a jacket or sweater for the evening parties as the temperatures do drop after sunset. Be sure to bring good walking shoes since the convention center is over 330 yards (300 meters) from one end of our location to the other.

Get Your Event T-shirt: You can purchase your Social Media Marketing World T-Shirt at Social Media Marketing World 2018 in the Networking Plaza. Available in Men and Women cuts.
- ▼ All-Access Recordings and Slides ▼ −
The All-Access conference ticket includes access to all the keynote, workshop and session recordings. You have access to the recordings for 18 months from your ticket purchase date. Recordings become available after the conference ends and all will be posted within two weeks.
After the conference go here and login with user ID/email and password that you used when you registered to access the recordings and slides. We will email you once the recordings are being uploaded as well as a reminder. Note: Forgot your password? No problem. Just follow the “Lost Password” prompts.
