LinkedIn Introduces Visual Profiles: “For the first time, you will now have the ability to showcase your unique professional story using rich, visual content on your LinkedIn profile. This means you can illustrate your greatest achievements in the form of stunning images, compelling videos, innovative presentations and more.” This new feature is rolling out now to LinkedIn members in English-speaking countries.

"To begin sharing your achievements and creations on your profile, simply select Edit on your profile, then follow the prompts in your Summary, Experience and Education sections."

Google+ Rolls Out Custom URLs for Profiles and Pages: Google+ is “introducing custom URLs to a limited number of verified profiles and pages.” Custom URLs will be made available to others in the future, but Google has not said when.

Google+ will be rolling out custom URLs like this one for Hugo Boss.

Klout Gets a Major Update: Klout has made changes to the way they calculate Klout scores to increase accuracy, give more transparency and improve website design. There’s also a new feature called Moments, which displays the content and ideas that have been most influential across all of your networks. With these recent changes, Klout helps “everyone to gain a clearer, more accurate understanding of how they influence other people through the ideas they share.”

LinkedIn Targeted Status Updates Available to All Company Pages: You can now select a target audience for updates shared on your LinkedIn Company Page.  You can specify your target audience by company size, industry, job function, seniority, geography and whether they are employees of your company or not.  Targeted Status Updates were launched to select LinkedIn customers and are now available to all Company Pages.
