YouTube Launches Paid Channels: YouTube Paid Channels is “a pilot program for a small group of partners that will offer paid channels on YouTube with subscription fees starting at $0.99 per month. Every channel has a 14-day free trial, and many offer discounted yearly rates.” YouTube will be rolling Paid Channels out more broadly in the coming weeks as a self-service feature for qualifying partners.

Facebook Updates iPhone App With Chat Heads and Stickers: “Now you can keep chatting even when you’re doing other stuff on Facebook, like checking your news feed. Tap Chat Heads to reply, drag them around or flick them down to close.” And you can also add stickers to your messages.

Facebook Announces New Look for News Feed: The “new version of Facebook designed to reduce clutter and focus more on stories from the people you care about.” The changes are rolling out slowly and include new feeds and Facebook will now have the same look and feel on mobile, tablet and web. Instagram Feed for PCs: Instagram has gone beyond its mobile-only interface and now allows you to browse Instagram feeds from the desktop – just like you do on your mobile device. Go to instagram.com and log into your account to give it a try.

"Your Instagram feed on the web functions much like it does on your mobile phone. You can browse through the latest photos of people whom you follow with updates as people post new photos."

Google+ Hangouts Are Nicer to Look at, Easier to Use: Google+ Hangouts have some new features: a sidebar you can show or hide, new notifications and apps that are easier to find and manage. The result is a more enjoyable experience.

"The sidebar contains your frequently used apps, as well as other ones active in the Hangout. And you can also remove apps from the sidebar at any time."
