Google+ Introduces Application Sign-In:  ”Whether you’re building an app for Android, iOS or the web, users can now sign in to your app with Google, and bring along their Google+ info for an upgraded experience. It’s simple, it’s secure and it prohibits social spam.” This is the Google+ equivalent of Facebook Connect and Twitter authorization for signing into third-party applications.

Instagram Announces Web Profiles: The popular mobile app Instagram now has web-based profiles. “Your web profile features a selection of your recently shared photographs just above your profile photo and bio, giving others a snapshot of the photos you share on Instagram. In addition, you can follow users, comment and like photos and edit your profile easily and directly from the web.”
