Social Media Success Summit 2011: The Web's Largest Online Social Media Conference

Dear Fellow Marketer;

Are you using social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, but not getting the results you hoped for?

Could you use some guidance and fresh ideas?

Yes, the promise of social media is strong: Direct contact with customers and prospects who were previously unreachable. This means greater exposure, increased traffic and more business opportunity—all without costly middlemen.

And given this economy, who doesn't want more business?

But if you're like me, you're looking to choose your social media activities wisely, without getting consumed by all the options. You simply want to know what works best.

Social Media Examiner is happy to announce Social Media Success Summit 2011—an online event designed to help marketers and business owners quickly achieve social media success.

Proof That Social Media Means Business

Watch the above video from Michael Stelzner

You're familiar with social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. But do you know the impact social media is having on businesses?

Just consider these interesting factoids:
  • Social media use on the rise: More than 73% of businesses plan on increasing their use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs in 2011, according to the 2011 Social Media Marketing Industry Report.

  • Mass consumer adoption of social media: There are more than 500 million active Facebook users, 75% of all Americans use a social network and nearly 25% of all online time is spent on social networks (Nielson). Your customers are there. These are numbers you just cannot ignore.

  • Social media drives search engine optimization: The top three benefits of social media marketing are (1) generating more exposure for the business, (2) increasing traffic to websites and (3) improving search engine rankings, according to 2011 Social Media Marketing Industry Report.

  • Small businesses are dominant players: Small businesses are exploiting social media for lead generation and improving customer experience. For example, 45% of small businesses plan to increase spending on online video in 2011, up from 28% in 2010 (Small Business Marketing Forecast 2011).

And these recent statistics are just a small sampling of the power of social media.

So the big question is this: What do experienced marketers and business owners know and do with social media that makes them so successful?

If you knew that—if you knew step-by-step how the pros create and execute social media campaigns to attract high-quality customers and achieve success—you could simply duplicate what they do and achieve similar results.

That's what Social Media Success Summit 2011 is all about. We've brought together the world's most successful social media practitioners and asked them to reveal their success secrets to YOU. And it's all live!

And the best part? You don't have to spend a small fortune on travel, meals or a hotel to attend. The conference is completely online. You "attend" from the comfort of your own home or office, using your computer to watch, listen, and participate in the presentations and networking.

However, like any conference, there's a limit to how many people can fit in the "room." So if you're interested in connecting with valuable customers and prospects, turbo-boosting your lead generation, enhancing your image in your industry, and improving sales, secure your spot at this conference today.

Is the Social Media Success Summit 2011 a Fit for You?

First, you don't need to be a techno-geek or twenty-something to use and benefit from social media. You might be surprised to learn that many social media marketers are aged 30 to 60.

If you find yourself in one of the categories below, the Social Media Success Summit 2011 is a fit for you:

  • The Small Business Owner: You're just getting underway with social media—likely a consultant, coach, local business owner, writer, agent, blogger, artist or general "gun for hire"—and see the potential of social media, but want to speed your path to success with the least effort and the greatest return.

  • The Corporate Marketer: You work for a corporation and have been tasked to manage the company's social media initiative. You likely face internal battles to convey how social media could help the company, but you know there's real potential.

  • The Experienced Social Media User: You've been using social media for a while, but want better results. You're ready to take your business to a whole new level by measuring your return on investment, following the proven tactics of the pros and leveraging the latest techniques. Better response. Less work. More profitability.

If you find yourself in any of the above categories, Social Media Success Summit 2011 is an event you don't want to miss.

How It Works

Studies frequently show people who attend such professional development events are more successful, reach their business goals faster, enjoy their work more, build better relationships and earn a higher income!

Here's how this event works:

1. Though this summit will take place online, it will be a live event.

The instructors will be presenting their sessions live in real time, right on your computer screen. You can listen and watch their presentations, and speak directly to the experts, asking questions and getting instant answers.

When you register, you'll be given a link and access information for each session. When the date and time arrive, you simply pull up your web browser, go to a web page, type in your log-in information and, voilà, you're "there." It's the virtual equivalent of walking into a room at a live conference and sitting down!

2. You can interact live with the presenters.

That means you can actually speak with the social media superstars.

During each session, you'll hear and see the lessons (so be sure to turn on your computer speakers!). The virtual room also offers interactive capabilities beyond what's possible at live conferences. You can participate in instant polls and download presentation slide decks to print out for note-taking.

Just like regular conferences, most sessions last an hour, and will offer an opportunity for live questions and answers.

If you want to ask a presenter a question, we'll provide a toll-free number you can dial. A real operator brings you on the line (like a radio talk show) and you speak directly to the experts!

We also provide a private LinkedIn group where you can interact with presenters and fellow attendees. You also get a downloadable video recording of each session with transcripts!

Session recordings can be streamed online using a computer, iPhone, iPad or other HTML-5 enabled device—or downloaded to your desktop for playback.

3. Of course, networking is a big part of this event...

Many people who attend our professional development summits report the relationships they establish with fellow attendees are priceless… relationships that often continue to be a source of advice and support for years to come.

Between sessions, you can network with other summit attendees on the "exclusive" Social Media Success Summit 2011 LinkedIn group—available ONLY to event registrants (at one of our prior events, more than 1200 messages were generated in our private group).

You also get access to Twitter-based chat rooms where you can interact live with your peers.

We'll provide a certificate of achievement for attendees who successfully complete the summit and pass an examination.

This event was designed by marketers for marketers. That means we built it to accommodate your busy schedule. We've spread the summit out over 4 weeks, with multiple sessions each week.

You don't have to stop working to attend (AND you can begin applying what you'll discover immediately). The audio and video from each session are recorded, and transcripts are included for further study.

"Attend" Any or ALL of the Following Sessions

At traditional summits and conferences, groups of sessions are often held at the same time, so it's impossible to attend them all.

Not this summit.

When you register, you'll be able to take advantage of EVERY business-building opportunity. Even better, after the summit you can download a video recording of each and every session. If you miss a live session, we'll provide you a recording AND transcript for FREE.

"The actionable information shared in these sessions is so mountainous that you will still be mining and applying these steps to grow your brand and your income for months to come. I can't even count the number of actionable items I'm taking away from this summit. I have already applied at least a few dozen changes to brand myself on, and use, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn." Jeff Crabtree

Although I know you provide transcripts, PPTs and recordings of the sessions, I still handwrote nearly 20 pages of notes, not wanting to miss even the smallest tidbit of great information!" Bonnie D. Graham

"I'm an attorney moving my work into the social media space and the webinars were immediately useful. They contain the kind of content you can go back to repeatedly, they are that rich.
