Shannon “Shaun” Campbell is a first year student at Sinclair Community College with the intention to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Wright State University. He is the Success Networking Team coordinator in The National Society of Leadership & Success, the vice-president of Toastmasters, as well as a member of the Ohio Fellows and Phi Theta Kappa. Off campus, he is a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Dayton and a student member of the Miami Valley Human Resource Association.

Shaun has embraced the philosophy of “servant leader” as defined by the author Robert K. Greenleaf. He was introduced to the concept by, Sinclair’s own, Tom Roberts whom instituted it on campus through the Ohio Fellows Program. Shaun believes the serving our community and investing in the people in it should take priority over self-interest.

“I have been reborn from the ashes of a dead existence. I’ve been given a vision of the man I want to be. I strive daily to take another step closer towards this revelation. Every day is another opportunity for growth and redemption. Perfection may be unattainable, but its pursuit is divine.” – Shaun Campbell
