Shark Marketing Co. CEO and creator of Where Writers Win, Shari Stauch has been involved in publishing, marketing and PR for 33 years. She is the co-creator of Pool & Billiard Magazine, celebrating 30 years as the sport’s oldest monthly magazine. In 2004 she retired from the Women’s Pro Billiard Tour after a 20-year career as a touring professional and marketer/co-creator of the tour to pursue development of Shark Marketing Co., created to serve a growing community of authors and aspiring authors using their words to promote issues. She was inducted into the Women’s Professional Billiard Association Hall of Fame in 2007.

Shari is currently serving a second term as president of Charleston’s Center for Women, where she moderates the Center’s Women Writers Forum, and has conducted workshops on website marketing, social media and self-image branding.

In 2008, Shari signed on as Co-Director of Programming for Words & Music: A Literary Feast in New Orleans, The elite annual writers conference brings together the nation’s best editors, agents and aspiring authors, along with internationally known authors. Stauch continues to work with agents, editors, authors and aspiring authors throughout the U.S., using her marketing and PR skills to help authors put their passion in print and broaden their audiences.

Stauch is a certified executive coach, an award-winning essayist and fiction writer, editor, and author of four non-fiction books. She is completing a novel set in her hometown of Chicago, IL.
