    Food and business?
Starting and running a highly successful business. Now the often question asked is, how difficult is it to start and run a business in this competitive market? The results often lead to question of resources; does one have the necessary resources?
People often mistook resources to capital, machinery, workers, equipment, etc. Yes these resources are imperative to one’s business to start operating but the question in mind is, how often people put emphasis on resources such as network as a resource and other intangible resources such as skill of mind, proficient knowledge (information), negotiating and innovation.
I always compare business to food when advising people who are clueless or have been in the industry but struggling to get their business up and running.
When preparing a meal or baking for the first time, what do you do? You first think about what exactly you want to make, what exactly you want to bake and then ask around, often ask somebody closest to you or whom you trust will perhaps give the right ingredients for you to make the right meal.
With enough sufficient information (ingredients), the chances of you having to reach the determined outcome are always certain and accurate and more accurate when you have expect next to you leading you all the way.
When you finish baking the cake even people outside the house don’t need to ask if you’re baking or not but will of cause smell those deliciously baked cakes from outside. In business with the right pulling strategies in your business in place, people will know about the business or product without you having to go out there and spending thousands and thousands in marketing the product.
It’s what you put in the cake you’re baking that gets people’s attention for the cake you’re baking, it’s the flavor that gives people that attention that triggers their thought making them crave for those biscuit (cakes) you’re baking, so as for the business.
