I’m a freelance writer, speaker and garden coach from Oklahoma. I’m a frequent contributor of writing and photography to Oklahoma Gardener magazine. I’ve also written for Organic Gardening magazine, Fine Gardening, flower magazine, The Oklahoman, along with the Garden Writers Association Quill & Trowel and Lowe’s Corporation under their Lowe’s ‘Creative Ideas Team’ blog. I also write for Fiskar’s Corporation and Proven Winners. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism–Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis in Botany, and I’m a member of the Garden Writers Association, the Oklahoma Horticultural Society and Great Garden Speakers.
