Hi everyone! Nice meeting you. I am so excited to be a part of the Social Media Examiner Networking Club and in exploring the possiblities of what we will be able to do together.

Currently, I am in the process of changing my life focus. Most of my life I have been a professional in the horse world. (see my bio below) I am still, but have shifted into marketing online more.

What has surprised me is the connections I have made in social media. I have met the most amazing people in the world here. Many of them are now my friends.

This is what I am known for in the horse world. “Randi Thompson is internationally recognized for her award winning “How To Market Your Horse Business” and “Horse and Rider Awareness Educational Programs.” Randi has been in the horse industry for 35 years and has been coaching professionals for 15 years in horse and rider training, business and marketing. She has been featured as the keynote speaker at the largest equestrian trade shows in the US as well as speaking for events outside the horse world on social media and internet marketing.

Randi’s award winning Facebook fan page “How to Market Your Horse Business” was recognized in 2012 as the Winner for for the Social Media Examiners Top 10 FB Small Business Page. We were also featured in their webinar, “9 Businesses Using Facebook Right” HTMYHB was a finalist in Mari Smiths “Great Facebook Timeline Cover Contest”

In 2011 HTMYHB was a finalist in the Social Media Examiner as a Social Media Examiners Top 10 Facebook Small Business page. Social Cycle listed it as “5 Facebook Pages We Aspire To” and Jeff Bullas “Top Ten Facebook Designs to Inspire You”

Back at home, in the horse world, Randi Thompson’s programs have won international awards for social media in the Equestrian Social Media Awards.”

And now you know the rest of my story. Now I have had a little success in the social media world and am finding ways to make income in it. It is a big change, but the time has come to do it.
