I am the owner and a social media manager of Social Media by Megan.

I graduated from Gonzaga University and got a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. I double majored in Broadcast and Electronic Media Studies and Political Science and loved it.

I worked for two TV stations while going to school in Spokane, WA. I worked as a production assistant for KSPS-TV (a PBS station) and then got hired as a news producer for KXLY-TV.

Although, I was mainly a TV producer, I was always curious about social media and blogging. I managed KXLY’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and also wrote for 17 blogs focused on events and people in the Spokane and Northern Idaho communities.

I then started my own company in January 2013 and am loving managing social media pages for small businesses. I am looking forward to learn more about social media marketing and meeting new people on this new adventure!
