I am an award-winning author of three novels, Tenderfoot, McClellan’s Bluff, and Rosemount and soon-to-be released Tubob: Two Years in West Africa with the Peace Corps.

Tubob has been an exciting project for me. First, it’s a memoir, a real departure from writing fiction. Second, I have always loved all things African and Tubob has given me a reason to revisit (in my mind, that is) our two years in Africa.

I’m glad to be here with Social Media Examiner so that I can be more aware of the ins and outs of social media.
