My interest in Marketing communications started as a teenager. I have always been a great listener, loved to do research and to connect people. When I was 15, I participated in event planning after my school hours. That experience combined with my exposure involved to the family business in the cheese industry, specializing in production, import and export of cheese globally, led me to go to the Netherlands to study International Business and Languages (IBL) in 2004. I majored in international marketing and obtained my Bachelor of Commerce in 2008, which enhanced my understanding of the marketing and communications industry. I recently finished my Master Program in Marketing; and now I’m looking for an entry-level media communications position in NYC.

Living my entire life in the trilingual country Belgium helped me become proficient in Dutch, French and German. Furthermore, thanks to my parents’ origin, the Netherlands and Poland, and through the studies of IBL, I am today a speaker of six languages: Dutch, Polish, German, French, English and Spanish.

I wake up every morning with a stream of positive energy. I am an optimist by nature and have an outgoing personality. I love knowing new people and their stories. Along the years, my professional and personal experience helped me fortify my self-confidence, helping me understand better both my strengths and weaknesses. I have sharpened my understanding of human motives and psychology and motivating people seems natural to me. Moreover, I’m a natural-born team player and I’m always open to new ideas.

I only know one competition in my life – myself. Every day, I try to get better and learn as much as I can.
