If your going to go into business, or some kind of sports because its your dream to have more and not have to work for someone the rest of your life. Then realize one day that its not going to be as easy as you thought, and have the mindset that your only going to put in minimal effort because its not paying you as well or better than your day job. STOP and quit because if you are going to think that way now then your dream will never take off. The effort you put in it is what you will get out of it. The company you work for was once a small struggling company before it became successful, so thank your boss or the founder for not thinking that way, that they built the company up with a relentless effort so you and others can have a job.
