I’ve spent nearly my entire career rolling up my sleeves and getting dirty at start-up companies. I enjoyed the challenge of making coffee, creating flyers and answering customer’s questions…all at the same time. I started in a Customer Service role, transitioned to Sales, and have now found a home in Marketing. That evolution helped me understand the “bigger picture” and gave me an appreciation for how each person’s function is integral in getting the job done.
I now work as the Digital Marketing Manager for a publishing company which turns print content into mobile applications for those in the first response and medical verticals. My short list of duties include: managing all of our social media accounts, digital advertising, digital promotions and contests, e-mail campaigns, website updates, and building relationships with mobile testers/users. I’ve also been known to bring in snacks for the office from time to time.
In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, watching the Discovery Channel, writing, reading and getting crafty. I also spend many hours bribing my parents so that they’ll burn my awkward junior high photos.
