Seeing webmasters drop article volumes (and entire sites) post-Penguin/EMD updates due to the work involved in de-spamming their offsite activity, I’ve decided to have a pop on my own.

The writing itself I’m proficient in; social media on the other hand…mm????

I love writing but am going through a heck of a learning curve when it comes to social media – I do need help and I don’t mind admitting it.

I’m off ‘proper’ work long-term following complications to hip/thigh surgery, with further procedures ruled out as ‘unjustifiable’. Touch wood, the arthritis ain’t got to my fingers yet and the opiates have only slightly twisted my brain (some may say ‘steadied the boat’, but hey, there’s a fine line between genius and madness…).

My goal is to be a self-sufficient web copywriter; with social media playing an increasingly important role in traffic and rankings, it’s about time I started to get my head around it.
