Hi there. I own a boutique public relations firm called Anton Communications that is based in Southern California, but has clients throughout the country. My specialties are real estate developement, finance, banking, law firms and professional services.

I have personally been active in social media for years, but only recently been able to convince my rather conservative, button-down clients that it is essential for their business.

In just the past year, the tide has started to change. A critical mass of executives is now familiar with social media and younger staffers are prodding them along (get these people on your team as allies). We’re now handling the social media programs for several of our clients.

I joined this group to get ideas, share our experiences and have a handy cadre of experienced practitioners to help us when we get stuck along the way.

From time to time, we also need outside assistance with web design, blog writing, social media management, etc. and this looks like a great pool of experts that might be able to help us.
