I have taught in higher education for 10 years, worked in construction for 20, and been in school basically since I was five years old.

My hobbies include wrestling with my children, landscaping, construction, bonsai, reading about new ideas, and writing. I enjoy the outdoors, though not in a very athletic way–more Henry David Thoreau-like.
