I've been in marketing for years, but for the last 12 years I've been in the home furnishing industry....yep... OUCH!

It's such a difficult industry to influence for most of the brick and mortar dtores don't have a website, or a crappy one, probably don't understand email and they all drive Oldsmobile's and can't figure out why they can't find spare parts. With that said, I'm trying to help this industry transform from the "old traditional" platforms to the "new traditional" platforms.

Thanks and I can't wait to interact. I have 2 websites: napiermkt.com and social4retail.com. The latter is an aggregating site for news/tips/whitepapers to help retailers understand the dynamics of how they must change or become..."IRRELEVANT. I also blog about the industry at social4retail.blogspot.
