The Hotel Barter Network was conceived in 2011 after our founders spent countless hours marketing financial solutions to Hoteliers, BnB owners and others in the Hospitality market. It was evident after analyzing feedback that the industry needed something truly innovative to eliminate the decades old issue of excess inventory. At times, and especially during valleys in the economy, vacancy rates approach or exceed 50%. It’s also not simply a vacancy issue vis-à-vis rooms. The issue extends to banquet rooms, conference halls, and ballrooms; as well as other guest amenities like spas, in-house dining, and entertainment.
