Facebook Improves Embedded Posts: “A new design, faster load times and per publisher default widths to make Embedded Posts even better.”
Pinterest Rolls Out Guided Search on Web: “Now when you search for something, descriptive guides will help you sift through all the good ideas from other Pinners.”
Facebook Introduces Ad Preferences: “A new tool accessible from every ad on Facebook that explains why you’re seeing a specific ad and lets you add and remove interests that” Facebook uses to show you ads.
Facebook Expands Video Capabilities: “For advertisers who specifically want to drive video views, ‘video views’ will be a new objective to choose from when they create a campaign in [Facebook’s] ads create tool, Power Editor and the API.”
Facebook Introduces New Reach and Frequency Abilities: “Now, advertisers who utilize Facebook’s reach and frequency buying will be able to predictably manage audience sizes and the number of times their ads will be shown to those audiences.”
Instagram Brings Ads to More Countries: Later this year, ads on Instagram will be introduced “in three countries—Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.”
Facebook Messenger Adds Groups: Windows Phone users will “see a new Groups tab where you can manage and create groups with your closest friends, family or work colleagues and have group conversations.”
