What struck me most about this video was how well Coach Deb explained what social media is. This is not easy to do and so many businesses are still struggling because of this very basic understanding.Also, just like you I found the "in person networking" definition of Twitter spot on. Thanks for sharing your favorite soundbytes… it is always helpful for us to retain the information and to add to our own soundbytes. Here are some of my favorite soundbytes from the interview: Twitter is in person networking ... the online cocktail party to build current relationships ... online rolodex ... loved that she used 12 influencers and new prospects ... have a strategy and know what your brand is ... think about the emotions you want people to feel about your brand and company ... everything you do on Twitter should bring out the brand ... tap into the emotion ... social media is about making those emotional and human connections ... relationship marketing.
