  • Have you seen Google Drive yet? Go and sign up for your reminder. (unless you are one of the elite that has it already) If you have tested it, let us know. Oh I can’t wait! I love Google.

  • Jason – I threw out a post on this the other day here to see if others were considering it and there was quite a mixed reaction.  Here is the link:  http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/clubs/small-business/forum/topic/google-drive/

  • I already have it and will ‘kick the tires’ some and let you know.

  • I have it already also, all I see so far is another way to access my Google Docs. I use Drop Box for a lot of my storage and I have quite a bit of room (only using 21% of my 21GB avail). At this point, I don’t know how much I will use it. I am curious on what others will use it for.

  • @egaile oops, my bad. i didn’t see the thread, and yes it has excellent comments.

Too bad we cannot request threads closed, or can we @rich-brooks

  • @jasonwiser

We can, but I wouldn’t necessarily close this one. Just because there was a conversation in the past doesn’t mean this one doesn’t have value.

  • Slam the brakes on this one… anybody bother to read the fine print in using this service, I for one do NOT like the way it reads; like not only is Google tracking your every move but everything you upload gives them license to use it in any manner they want…

  • @chrisloeser If possible, I’d email Google for clarification but Shortstack has a similar line in their terms of service and sent me a clarification through their lawyer that it was only so that they could load the images anywhere people might come from when looking at my Facebook tabs, and that they were exercising no claim over our original artwork, content etc. I’m wondering if it is a clause for service delivery only, and if that could be clarified (i.e. so the service will work if you are in LAX or in the bush country of Australia).

    Jason

  • And not sure exactly how the Dropbox fine print reads, but I have heard the same from them. i will definitely not send up sensitive information, but then again, I have some pretty sensitive business spread sheets in Google Docs, so…
