How many entrepreneurs would appreciate a step by step plan to help them build their business to the next level? I know that my business is always last & sometimes forgotten, because my focus is on the clients and their business growth. Having a step by step plan which I don’t have to create from scratch seems to be helpful to me.You? Have you found one to be helpful to you?
try this ready to go plan, there are beginner and advanced packages http://www.marketing-mentor.com/toolbox/html/marketingplanbundle.html
A couple years back, I took the Authority Bloggers course from Chris Garrett. It was fabulous and took my business to the next level. I highly recommend it.
Well…………I suspect they call it a business plan.
@outtatheboxmktg @dfriesland @charlene-kingston @roguecitrus In my work with small business owners, I use the format of The OnePageBusiness Plan.It can be used for as startup plan, a marketing plan or a strategic plan. Reminding all that after being in busines 2-3 yrs strategic plan for the next 2-5 yrs is appropriate. A Marketing plan is done in the first year, and then agin every 2 yrs to stay target. However, always keep in mind that ever changing outside forces require staying current with plans. Don’t create them and forget them.
yes, i would love a plan..
but,i wouldnt think someone would know what the actual right plan for someone elses business was…but yes i would love to take my business to the next level…

I recently finished reading @mike-stelzner‘s Launch, and it’s all about starting a new business or taking yours to the next level.
I’m in the process of launching another brand and I’m using the book like a step-by-step plan on how to launch a business as quickly as possible.
Great question, Cindy. I see small businesses with an extremely clear vision of how they monetize their business and an unwavering focus on that path. And then I see businesses that seem to get muddled with different monetization efforts and nothing working really strong. And then there’s also the question of choosing the best way for you to make money in your niche.

Thanks Rich!
Cindy, you need a strategy and a plan for sure. Whether it is step-by-step I can’t say. I think it is important to leave some steps a bit fluid as every business is different.
Thank you for your wealth of suggestions. So many different options available.
Now the research begins.
THANKS!
I was lucky enough to be a beta tester for DuctTape Marketing’s course and it is an amazing course! He has templates and samples and everything to walk you though raising your business up to the next level.
no matter what, remember the Ready, Fire, Aim concept. A business plan will never be perfect. Get is at least 80% right and then begin. Make corrections along the way to get that last 20%
What great feed back, yes having some kind of plan is critical for any entrepreneur.. I hope I am not out of line putting this link up however it covers business planning for small business and it is free … http://www.udemy.com/how-to-better-master-your-small-business/
It may be of value for some.
A 3 to 5 years Business Plan is essential for any activity. There is plenty of templates online some you can get for free and some for minimal charges. You also have the option of downloading applications that takes you through the process of creating a plan if you are not familiar with the main elements that should constitute a successful business plan. But what is more important is your input and how you are going to fine tune these templates according to the vision that you have for your business. More importantly the use of figures. Good luck!
Mac, love the ready, aim, fire advice. I am usually scared to start anything until I have it perfect! @richardmclaughlin
