Wishlist or Premise? (7 posts)

  • Any thoughts here about which to choose for a membership site?  Thanks!

  • Hi Margie,

I haven’t used Wishlist, but I do use Premise and find it extremely useful. They are also regularly updating it with new features and functionality – like email provider integrations and split testing abilities.

    Just my 2 cents.Sam

  • I use both and find Wishlist easier, but then I am much more familiar with it.

  • I use Premise but it depends on what your business looks like, Margie… what your specific needs are. If you provide more details as to what’s important to YOU maybe people can make judgements that help.

  • @margiemintz  I also own both wishlist and premise.

    1. As  @jeff-molander mentioned it depends on what you using it for.
    2. @elizabeth-jamieson I agree wishlist is easier.
    3. But as @samscholfield has mentioned premise has some unique features that wishlist doesn’t. I especially like their landing pages types, graphics to choose form and a/b split testing. Not to mention a really value content library to teach you how to use membership websites as well as other valuable marketing resources.

  • Thanks so much, all!

I’m putting together a membership site.

This is great information. Premise is a lot cheaper, but if they have free test-drive periods, maybe I’ll try them both out.

I appreciate your input on this,

    Margie

  • I love all things CopyBlogger/StudioPress, so I’m a bit bias here!
I am working with a client now on updating a membership course to Premise.  I am thinking this will be a much more user friendly way to present the information.  The current program we are using (BuddyPress) just does not fit for what we need.
