    Rhyme time! I’ve started a new business and have bought two domain names 1) just my name: deairby.com and,             

    2) my company (O Dea Me) name: odeame.com  (which sort of looks weird, but then again, so does my name!)     
    I have an established blog site for my old business that will have to be redirected to the new one. But, I’m wondering if I should have my name be the main domain and the other be a subdomain because what if I change to focus on something else in a couple of years? I’m not changing my name but the company name may change.

    It is a matter of how you want to brand yourself.
    Do you see yourself using your name everywhere or do you prefer using your business name?

    I use my name everywhere and my site is also on that domain in Dutch ernohannink.nl and English ernohannink.com. I do see most business owners (one person business) using a business name.
    If you change your focus in a few years, 1. you will tackle that then 2. maybe there is no need to change the business name with the changed focus.

    I agree with @ernohannink statements. A business name is something you should consider.  I considered it, but still went with my own name.

    Not sure why you would use the 2nd domain as a subdomain. I don’t see any benefit in that. Technically a subdomain is subdomain.mydomainname.com 

    If you do chose to use your own name for your business I vote for deairby.com
