What’s your fastest personal path to cash online? (5 posts)

  • What’s your fastest personal path to cash online?

I ask this because I was reminded in another forum to focus on what has made me money online in the past and focus on that, tweaking it, making it better, scaling that success to make more money faster, then use it as a model for my own fastest path to cash.

I’ve made all my money offline so far, but working to launch my own site now, so have nothing to share except client models and can’t share that. They’re more corporate PR focused anyway, based on long histories of diverse advertising and PR spends so nothing a new IMer can model from.

So can anyone share their personal story of what truly makes money for them online the fastest?

  • @atlantarobin

While I’ve found that selling kidneys will often get me some quick cash, I’ve also discovered that the ROI just isn’t there. ;)

Actually, the fastest way to make cash online (or off) is usually some sort of scam. It’s quick and easy.

I know that’s not what you’re looking for, however. So maybe we can rephrase the question to be, “what’s the most sustainable personal path to profitability online?”

For me, it’s been lead gen for my business. I’ve done affiliate sales and buy now buttons for events, but my best business is coming out of developing quality content that attracts my audience (small business owners and marketers, mostly), to my site.

A percentage of these decide they’d like to work with an experienced partner, and thus a relationship begins.

How about everyone else? Any suggestions for Robin?

    Kidneys AND blood, Rich. Gotcha.

But I agree on the lead gen part, where good quality content and thoughtful marketing goals and strategies prevail both online and off line, attracting quality clients with similar goals you can best serve. Makes sense.

Everyone has their own critical path that works for them best. Guess I’m just asking for people to share that here. Thanks for sharing yours, Rich. No kidneys necessary for me.

  • Affiliate marketing and about $15,000 in cash to spend on ad buys and setting up your offers. Although most affiliates average $500 a month it is possible to make upto 20k a month at it. A friend of mying did this for two years before the site owner decided to stop paying out the affiliates. There is some really good training out there. You can expect to make some cash after 30 days. I would consider getting your feet wet in commision junction and clickbank and then once you have proven yourself start applying to the bigger affilate services and best affiliate managers. Its the old adage it takes money to make money. If you were to start from scratch you could get up to speed on affiliate marketing in as little as three months. All send some resources to you if you like. Brian@productlaunches.co

  • My goal is to obtain as much online exposure as humanly possible. It boils down to hard, hard work. As I am fast discovering that the most successful, “sustained”, bloggers, posters get there results from a, “lot of blogging”
