What’s Your Biggest Question About Pinterest? (9 posts)

Topic tags: pinterest
  • Yesterday I asked what your biggest question was about Twitter so I could better prepare for a lunch & learn we’re putting on locally.

Thanks for all the great responses!

I’m actually tag-teaming with a woman who will be presenting on Pinterest, so I thought I’d ask the same question about that platform and share your responses with her.

What’s your biggest Pinterest questions, whether YOU have them, or you know others will?

Is it about how to get started, what tools to use, why bother, etc?

    Thanks!

  • I would say that the biggest question is how to use it for business, especially when it’s a service type of business, rather than products.

  • whats  the  best way to use it for MY business…….  how to look at   priced pins….can i put  fun pinterst  posts on my   business page……

how  many times to post my pin  board    on  our   facebook page…. i have about  1300 followers  what  should i do with them?//   those would b e my starter  questions…..

  • Use it for my business. I have an India Inbound Travel company. However I do have some ideas, but not sure whats the best what to go.

  • One answer to give for “how do I use Pinterest for my construction/interior design/landscape business” is to have boards for your projects, and boards that show related products. For the interior designer, boards for rooms you’ve done and inspiration rooms, plus tile, countertops, flooring, lighting, cabinets, built-ins, fun home ideas, etc.

When you have a customer on the phone, ask if they have pin boards you can look at to get a good idea of what their style is. Have them look at your boards too, to see if anything stands out to them. It’s also a good way to qualify a lead…if your style is very modern and theirs is rustic, or you specialize in formal landscapes and they like cottage gardens, you may not be the best fit for each other (or may be just what the other needs to push their style a bit!!)

  • My biggest question…. WHY?

Followed closely with …. What for?

  • ivANKA, thats  easy  for me,  its fun..and its one of the hottest  things in my  field……..    thats where my customers are….and  my   boards  are helping   my  brand, if  you want to put it in  marketing  terms…..just  today  4 different    customers in person   said  they loved my  boards……and  90 different people  repinned   something  from  my   boards…and  all  month ive  been hearing about  pinterest when  the moms  bring the kids into the  store   to buy   fun  parts  for their  kids  4h  projects… usually  based on  recycling…..

.so it  was an  easy  choice for me….  its a good  fit  for  some….maybe not   all…..

    @ivankamenken

  • @reneestpeter love  your project  board idea…i know  some    brides  who have  done that  extensively….

.im  collecting  holiday pins  and hope it will help  me  and my workers   do our  christmas   displays….  they  can alls ee my  boards  easily….

  • @annfurnivall great idea to pin the holiday ideas for your employees! I’m putting that in my memory bank for when I have my art gallery…I have a very specific vision for it, and it will be easier to show a bunch of pictures than try to describe it :)
