What kind of things do you share? (4 posts)

  • Hello Folks.

It occurred to me that we share information here but not in the same way we share at twitter, G+, FB and LinkedIn.  I spend most of my time at G+ and twitter with FB thrown in for good measure. You probably all know by now I am not a great FB fan.

At any rate – I share a lot of breaking news and follow many stories that I also share.  The ongoing McAfee thing is something I look at everyday and this is the kind of thing I may share also – about people in the business – computers, programming, software, etc.

This is news that I tweeted and G+’d this morning – breaking news (maybe):

I also have a group at FB where I share one or two things per week and that may be one I share there.
What type of things do you share that are not your own blog posts or information for clients?
Just you, what YOU share for yourself.

  • I usually share things that encourage or uplift people. Principles that direct people in being Victors instead of Victims. I pass along other peoples blogs that align with this goal.  OR, on a totally different wave, recipes I’ve created or discovered. @supereb

Since my clients or followers wouldn’t be very interested in, or understand stuff that relates to what I do (web development) I share things that I think they would be interested in learning about.

I share articles on blogging, online marketing, social media, and other web related topics that will help them with their own website and online presence.  I guess that makes me a net worker—I just don’t have time to create content, I’m too busy creating websites so I share other peoples content.

    Hello.

You know it would be a hard line to just tweet or share one kind of thing.  I also tweet recipes, crafts goodies and kindle books, when there is a good one I really liked.

I do a lot of business sharing for those in the same industry too – for me it’s not all about clients or gaining clients either.  It is about networking – that’s what social media online and off is all about.  Meet and greet!
