One Wikipedia CMS List
Depending on what you may need, there is also more than one list available.
I recommend Drupal as there are a lot of people who know this system, more than many others. Joomla is popular but I believe the learning curve is longer and you’d need to know quite a bit more. Although I also know a few Joomla developers/designers, that list is shorter and more specialized (for knowledgeable people).
If you have hosting with (the real) cPanel, Fantastico De Luxe is often included. In Fantastico De Luxe, WordPress is still listed under Blogs (correctly so) and listed under Content Management (CMS) you will (or may) find these listed and available to activate:
Drupal – Geeklog – Joomla 1.5 – Mambo – PHP-Nuke – phpWCMS – phpWebSite – Siteframe – TYPO3 – Xoops – Zikula
Although a short list, these are considered main stream and have many followers, so it may be easier to find an experienced webmaster to help develop or run your site.
