I’ve been laying out a “content marketing” strategy for 2012. Video figures PROMINENTLY in those plans. Video has become part of the everyday language of the Internet — and will only increase. If you’re not using video in your marketing, it’s difficult to be in the conversation.
For all the reasons that Rich and Randi stated so perfectly. And I figured, since I produce video for businesses, I had better be making use of video in my own efforts. The old “show ‘em how it’s done” approach.
I’m working on tips to help businesses produce high quality video for VLOGs and other short, FAQ, quick tips type video. The kind of video that can be produced inexpensively, fast and often. I’ll be sharing these on my blog and through my YouTube channel.
