  • I’m trying mightily to follow WebEx’s instructions for converting a PPT file into the UCF format. Can anyone help me out? I do have the WebEx tools installed on my PC now. The webinar is on Wednesday.

    And what’s so great about UCF anyway? I would think that PDF would work just as well…

    Thanks!

    Hmmm…I’m not sure why you would need to do so either.

    However, I found the following articles:

    Hope this helps!

  • @rich-brooks Thanks for tracking down some information Rich. I have those, but despite having downloaded the WebEx Tools, I can’t find the way to recreate the 2nd step of a “save as”. I may be forced to hold a test webinar in order to convert the file. I just wanted two slides to play before the actual presentation began to promote our May conference.

    Looks like I’ll have to contact WebEx on Monday about this issue.

  • Hello Kristy,

    I used it long ago so not confirm that its a correct way or not, but here’s what i do to save PPT as UCF….

    { Ms Office 07 & 10 }

    - I think you have installed WebEx already so no need to share how to about that..
    - Now open your PPT file and go to Add-ins  menu and click the save as (floppy) button.
    - Then save you file as UCF…

    - A progress bar will popup and as the bar gets done, you also got your file converted…

    { Ms Office 03 }
    - If you are on PowerPoint 03 then process is somewhat different. here now what you have to do.

    - Go to WebEx Menu click save as presentation as UCF..

    i hope this will help you..
