  • How much of your social media happens on your mobile phone?

I’m thinking everything from Twitter mobile to Facebook Pages; LinkedIn’s app to Instagram.

How are you using your phone to manage your social media?

  • Being a geeky girl, I’m almost embarrassed to say it, but not very much. Since I work from home and am on the computer all the time that’s what I use.

When I”m out and about I do check my mail, Facebook, and twitter account on my iPhone, but I can’t say I “manage” it from there.

    I haven’t yet installed the Linkedin app…

  • @rich-brooks I use mobile mostly when I’m out of the office so only occasionally. Having a FT gig provides me daily desktop computer time. I was excited in Augst to see that Facebook finally updated their (Android) app so I can view my page as well as post as the association.

  • Much of mine is on my phone. Facebook definitely, just getting more into Twitter and Google+. I have not done much with LinkedIn. I just ordered a new phone, Samsung Galaxy Note. I think it will be a little bit smaller version of my tablet :)

  • Working from my home office FT so I use my computer.  I use my BB to keep track of my emails when I’m out of the office.  Recommed LinkedIin, has worked well for me growing my business.

  • only when I’m out or my internet isn’t working AGAIN! aaarrrggghhh.

  • Funny, but when I worked mostly on the road, almost all of my connecting was done mobile. Now that I work from home, less and less – unless you consider listening to podcasts on my ipod and catching up with news feeds on my ipad as mobile. On the phone, not much at all.

  • In terms of just social media i would say alot, but when it comes down to business i would say the a fair few, like myself, tend to in terms of marketing use the computer!

  • I find my phone & apps really helpful in staying productive during what would normally be “downtime” away from the office. i.e – Waiting for kids at bus stop or a practice, dental appts, etc. (Multitasking!). I like Hootsuite’s iphone app for easily flipping between multiple twitter & FB accts.

  • Hootsuite as a mobile app is a godsend concerning managing social media activities. I don’t have to be tethered to my computer to stay up to date on what’s going on online.
