To use HUBSPOT as my Inbound Marketing platform. Yes or No?? (9 posts)

  • As I continue to learn about social media, I find out how much I DON”T KNOW! Originally I was going to start a “social media” company, but am finding out that that is just piece of the pie. The inbound marketing pie.
I stumbled upon Hubspot and how found much of their documentation and information very helpful to the learning process, and am considering using their platform as the base of my inbound marketing product offering.
Does anyone have experiences with Hubspot? I am looking for feedback. Both good and bad. Thanks for you help!

  • First of all do you have a $5,000 per month budget for marketing?  They contacted me to be a reseller or affiliate for them but their requirements are for higher end clients than I deal with.  I haven’t heard from anyone directly who uses them – but they sure can produce the stats on how well their software works for their clients.

  • I read the book the Hubspot guys wrote and found it very helpful. It contains a lot of practical tipps. I keep it to that at the moment.

  • @deniserubright @dcoville001 @claudiapoeckl – I like Hubspot they do bring out some great infomation and thier platform when I tired it was a really good piece of software that did a lot of great and needed things, however like Diane states it is expensive but if you have the money, I am sure the ROI is there.. most of my clients are small , home based, or mom and pop retail centers. Doesn’t make sense for me.

  • Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I guess I’ll stick to their free eBooks for now as I am still ramping up my business.  @prestonodenbrett @claudiapoeckl @dcoville001

  • Just today I got contacted by hubspot to see if we can talk about partnering… I guess they are looking to expand their business. as I did download one of their new ebooks on G+. This will be interesting, I  don’t think it will work, but maybe I can find bigger clients or smaller clients with a bigger budget? I am open to it.. like I mentioned I know they have a ton of case studies that do proove ROI and if you have a big marketing budget to start out with- I would highly suggest them…

  • I use HubSpot for my company’s website and love it. If you are looking to do a social media / marketing business, it would be something good to put in your arsenal. I find the information they provide to be extremely helpful and the ability to manage every aspect of your website key, especially for small businesses that want to keep control of their website and not have to outsource anything. Yes, you pay a bit more then just hosting, but when you think of paying someone else to do all the changes, it can get more expensive then HubSpot.

  • I will see if I can schedule a demo and see if it’s something I can do now or later. Thank you @lizkarschner @prestonodenbrett for your input.
