The Viral Coefficient (2 posts)

It was a webinar I attended and I was offering up the slides – I agree there are way too many free webinars but one of the speakers was quite unique and relevant- – no harm no foul. Check him out for yourself – http://www.emersonspartz.com

Here’s the slides from emerson spartz – http://goo.gl/XgdBK
    Very shareable stuff
As a caveat I also wanted to make people aware that this was a City of Chicago sponsored event. Chicago is taking SM seriously and has an individual appointed to promote SM for small business so anyone from SME who might not have heard could benefit. http://goo.gl/NNiup Thanx

  • Hi @mitch-rezman

When I first looked at his web page (about him) I thought it was an about.me page as it looks exactly like those pages do.  (Here is mine if you want to see what those pages look like - http://about.me/EileenBrownKS).

One very interesting thing from the slides is that Twitter seems to hold more importance (to him) than Facebook. I agree on that but also wonder about his comment on G+.  The “DO” and “Don’t” list does not make sense without the presentation behind those words.

I also agree with “piss them off or make them happy, but don’t make them sad.”

Going viral certainly has its merits and understanding why that happens with some content, and not with other content must be mostly in the presentation itself although it is easy to see most of his points from the slides.
