The best Networking Club (7 posts)

  • This may have a bit of bias being put in any one of the three Networking Clubs but which of the three Networking Clubs thus far do you think has helped you the most, and what type of clubs would you like to see in the future?

  • @matthewoneill

I feel this club has the best looking members, hands down. They’re also the smartest, most helpful of the three groups. ;)

As club leader, I am curious to know what type of groups people would like to roll out next.

  • @matthewoneill and @rich-brooks – All three groups have been great for me! The Small Business group has been a great resource for anything that is not FB and blog related. I would love to see a Twitter group, ePR and maybe an “emerging social media sites” group – one that highlights the newest social media sites and advantages of using them (or not). My 2 cents :-)

  • @matthewoneill @rich-brooks I am with  @birgitjohnston on having an “Emerging Social Media” group for posting. Google+ has been scattered and would fit well there, or even having a Google+ group specifically might be beneficial. All of the groups have been helpful to me and I find the Small Business group becomes somewhat of a “catchall” for topics not falling under Facebook or Blogging

  • @matthewoneill I’ve only had time for one group but the people and the quality of information here is great. A Google+ group would be a plus.

  • @matthewoneill I would love to see a LinkedIn group.  I have had a lot of success networking with people who are in my industry through LI. I also agree with  @alexandrabriggs and  @debbielynnava about a Google+ group. I think that would really help out many people…

  • @matthewoneill

Personally, I’m finding a lot of value in all the clubs, but mostly in the Facebook and Small Business Clubs.

Nothing against the Blogging Club, and I enjoy it as well, but right now my focus is on expanding our Facebook presence, rather than blogging.

The Small Business Club has a lot of great ideas and suggestions and has proven helpful as well.

I do think that a Google+ Club would be nice, as I’m sure there are a lot of people here on SME that are still not that familiar with it.

    Including me…… :-)

And, a LinkedIn group might not be a bad idea either…
