Storyboarding Tool? (7 posts)

  • OK, web developers & programmers: what’s your favorite tool for storyboarding and wireframing websites and programming?

My project manager was using Pencil, but there’s no great output mechanism for it.

  • @rich-brooks In my last company, our web developers and usability folks liked Balsamiq. I’ve never used it myself, so I can’t personally attest to its ease of use, but they really used it a lot.

  • I like HotGloo

  • Todays newsletter from Smashing Magazin included “Free Sketch Sheets For Web Designers (PDF/PSD)” The two links they shared were:  Sneakpeekit and Web Sketch Sheets

Haven’t had a chance to ck them out yet, but thought I’d pass the links along.

  • @juleswebb @joanmuschampfagnani Thanks!

  • @juleswebb Of the ones listed, I like HotGloo the best, too. Took a quick peak at the responsive one… and my head began to ache. Too much to think about….

  • I’ve used Axure for siteflows and wireframing. It’s a robust tool.

There are several export options, one of them HTML which produces all the pages that (if setup correctly in the design process) link up.

    It’s a great prototyping tool!
