Social Media Sharing Buttons for Gmail (4 posts)

  • First, I apologize in advance if this topic has been raised. I don’t think that it has.

I have added social media icons to the signature line of my gmail so that recipients can access my profiles at the various social media platforms (FB, Twitter, YouTube etc).

However, I would like to add share buttons to Gmail for campaigns where I would encourage recipients to share the contents of the select Gmails to their favorite social media platform. I have not been able to find a satisfactory way to do this.

Can anyone help in this regard?

    Many thanks.
    Brian

  • @brianjohns @moinshaikh @clusterwebdesign I also use WiseStamp but I don’t know of a way for it do what Brian wants to do. WiseStamp gives you social media buttons where your readers can connect with you, but not for your readers to share your email content.

The best way I know of doing that is to use one of the many email marketing platforms like ConstantContact, MailChimp, iContact, and many others. Most of them have incorporated social into their email templates. MailChimp will give you a free account with up to 2,000 subscribers and a max of 12,000 emails a month. Which is a great deal for a lot of small businesses. Plus you get many choices of professional looking templates to use.

    Hope that helps Brian.
