Social media in the UK (4 posts)

  • Hey, Just wanted to give a heads up to all the UK marketers and bloggers on this forum.

I would love to know what clients you have been working with on social media to yield the best results.  By this I mean hitting the goals laid out at the start of your campaign.

I have seen excellent results from a sports magazine, small festivals and hairdressers to name a few!

    Any insight would be great!

    Thanks,Tom

  • That’s a very broad question as social media goals can vary a heck of a lot! i.e. it might be to increase brand awareness, increase sales & leads, or consumer and product research.

For brand awareness, schools do really well, for generating traffic, not for profits can thrive (assuming they have a blog/resources and a good cause). I’ve not seen too many hairdressers do well unless they adopt the coupon side of social media.

    Hope that helps!Sam

  • @samscholfield

    You are very much correct

  • I asked a similar question about what’s working in Scotland – no real answers.
