Social Media for printed works and publications (6 posts)

  • Hello! I am having a bit of trouble thinking of things to tweet and post about with the comic books my company has recently published. I don’t want it to be cheesy like for example one mobile game company likes to pretend a bird is posting tweets occasionally by adding “SQUAK” here-and-there. I don’t find it effective to be honest. It’s a little annoying and why would you want to give the impression a bird is dealing with your customers (lol) Anyway I don’t know what to post, I can’t spoil the story but there really isn’t anything to constantly tweet about. Our website is not complete yet so do you think once the is done and the more people start buying it, the more activity and questions we will see? Thanks!

  • @sgsrecording  IMHO you have lots of things to tweet..
You may ask some nice questions like what they think of this story _____? Who is your favorite character? Which comic book is your favorite.. OMG.. I love comic books and just one story would take us an hour or more to discuss..
Try checking out different comic forums.. get some questions and topics that have really nice number of feedback. list them done.. that alone will give you tons of tweets for a week or month..

  • @valeriejoydeveza what is your blog address? Maybe I can email you digital copies (when we finish digitizing them) and you can review it? :) What do you think? Indy titled usually don’t get noticed too often but so far we have been blowing minds of comic shop owners here in Toronto by the quality of the writing and art. What do you say? :)

  • @sgsrecording  that would be awesome..  :)  my blog address is:
