Happy Saturday Folks.
I don’t really know if this is new but it is new to me. I picked up this Chrome extension wondering if it would be what I have been looking for and it is – perfectly. When viewing an image a little transparent menu comes up with these buttons: FB, G+, Twitter, Pinterest and email. Click one of the buttons and share the photo to any of those sites. It works like a charm. There is also a little “x” to close the menu and get it out of the way for any given image.

Just passing this along as it could help with photo/image sharing for social media. I had to exit Chrome and come back on for initiation. IF you are a Chrome user, this one is a must have.

STOP: This software, after trying it out for a longer period is a type of malware – it intrudes on your text typed into any box online – it adds links to spammy websites and place you would not like to recommend. SO, back to the drawing board for something that works as well but doesn’t fiddle with my OH!pinions!.

Apparently this add-on was responsible for adding links to any text I typed into any box online. SHUCKS – so it is not so great after all. Doesn’t Chrome look at that stuff before presenting it to the public? Sheesh.
I could not find a delete button for the post so it is still here AND I was penalized for deleting a couple of comments here, when I did not get points for the comments in the first place. That really is irritating.

@supereb Whew, Eileen. I’m so glad I kept reading. I immediately went to check it out, thought twice, came back and found your yucky follow up message.
So glad I thought twice before clicking! But just darn… that would have been great.
Also, I know what you mean about the points getting deducted here if you try to edit or delete. I type very fast, and with that comes typos, so I’ve had to learn to just let it go and not worry about all my messed up homonyms and typos that I didn’t edit before clicking “Post Reply.” Kinda embarrassing for an editor, but I’d rather have those little points than get deducted more points than I created… just for being a perfectionist little editor. Oh, well… I can live with it….

It is pretty darn embarrassing to tout an item and then it turns out to be malware intruding on my OH!pinions! My opinions are not always the most popular so I really, really don’t need any piece of crap-on-a-stick software helping me out, you know? Heh.
I used it about a dozen times before placing a comment anywhere and then when I did type text – all kinds of links were added, not items/places I would EVER recommend either. I knew it had to be this software as it’s the only new thing I tried in awhile.
Live and learn, eh?

@atlantarobin — What irritates me the most is I got this from the Chrome Store – Do they NOT check out this software at all? OMGuts – I was so miffed when I found out that it was this extension because it really was a great addition, I really loved it. I’ll have to browse the store again and hope I don’t get another extension that edits my posts and comments for me. Sheesh.
