Small agency tools? (5 posts)

  • We want to be able to track changes in the number, sentiment, and reach of Facebook likes and posts, tweets, Pinterest posts, Goole+ posts, etc. for our clients to measure before and after performance for campaigns that are launched in a variety of channels. Ideally we’d have one tool or suite of tools that measure performance across the social spectrum. What tools do you recommend?

I haven’t seen anything that does it all. We generally use an Excel spreadsheet and just pull that data in ourselves.

  • HI @matthew-schall

Agree with Rich on this one.  But you can get some different insight on what’s working by having accounts at Klout, Kred, Peerindex and TrustCloud. A whole different ball of wax, but useful just the same.

  • @matthew-schall You’ll probably have to use a paid service like Radian6 or NetBase. Right now I’m surviving on Hootsuite (personal), Bufferapp, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, bit.ly and our mail service’s analytics. In fact, I’m working on my comm. report today! It is very unwieldy esp. when we’re busy; however we don’t have a lot of $$ to throw into a program just yet. Good luck!
