SM Monitoring & Management Tools (14 posts)

  • Anyone have recommendations for a SM monitoring & management tool that does ALL of the following? Anyone else ever feel like a tool like this would be helpful?

    monitors trends, posts to several networks, includes analytics, manages email campaigns, integrates with CRM, identifies and tracks influencers, runs social media ads, responds to customer service inquiries, runs promotions, manages and tracks sales & sales leads

  • @toulavictor Sounds like the Holy Grail of management systems. Let me know if you find one.

  • Will do:) I know it’s a long shot but though I’d ask.  There are several tools out there that do each function separately but it would be great to only have to log in once.

  • Hootsuite is simple and inexpensive (free version available too). I’ve played around with Ubervu and it’s got a lot of features but I’m wondering if anyone has used it for awhile because it’s pretty expensive.

  • curious if hootsuite meets all your requirements, I’ve used it but mostly for posting on schedule @toulavictor

  • I’ve used Hootsuite for posting and scheduling posts as well, but not sure how to use it for monitoring in a way that useful.  Any ideas?

    I think what Toula is pointing out is a trend which we would see more and more as people get comfortable using tools. 

    I also keep an eye on preferred social media management tools. And have created a list of tools to use…these tools seems to be easy on wallet and give value for money

  • @toulavictor I am also curious on what you may find out. I also use Hootsuite primarily for scheduling but overall measurement is a work in progress. I manually review and log information in our CRM system so it would be MY holy grail if there was a platform that did all of what you mentioned, especially communicating with a CRM system through API

  • @alexandrabriggs Exactly!  There seems to be a disconnect.  Do you use Google Analytics?

  • @toulavictor I use Google Analytics but given the multiple brands it is not always the best for us

  • Anyone use realtime analytics to manage social media campaigns?  Are they useful?
